Dog Friendly Beaches in Corwnall
Rayle Farm Holiday Cottages is located on the North coast of central
Cornwall. This means that there are a host of beaches within easy travelling distance.
Many of these beaches are open to dogs all year round.
A sandy beach with a combination of sand and rocks. The eastern end
is backed by cliffs and caves, while the eastern site is marked by the sea wall for Portreath Fishing Harbour.
Dogs are not allowed on Portreath Beach during the summer between 0700
and 1900 (Easter Day - 1st October), so it is ideal for early morning or evening dog walking.
St Agnes (Trevaunance Cove)
A rocky and stony beach with plenty of rock pools for dogs, kids and
adults to explore. there's also a pub and cafe close to the beach.
Trevaunance Cove is open to dogs all year round and has parking close
to the beach.
Perranporth / Perran Sands / Holywell Bay
One of Cornwall's longest sandy beaches, this is popular with families
and surfers. At Perranporth the beach comes right up to the town and there's even a popular
bar (The Wateringhole) on the beach itself.
Dogs have free reign at the Holywell Bay (Eastern) end and along Perran
Sands, but once you get close to Perranporth itself dogs are required to be kept on a
lead, though are still welcomed.
