Great Cornish Dog Walking Locations
As well as the many fantastic beaches in Cornwall, there are some great inland dog walks

Idless Woods
Idless is located just North of Truro and is about 20 minutes by car from our holiday cottages. The dog friendly woods are owned and run by the Forestry Commission and offer an open access policy, so you'll likely see cyclists and horses there as well. There's a reasonably sized car park at the entrance.

Cardinham Woods
A little further afield, located just south of Bodmin, Cardinham Woods is a large Forestry Commision location with a car park, riverside picnic area and barbeques. There are a number of marked trails ranging from a mile or two around the valley bed, to very strenuous 10mile plus hikes up and doen the steep hills that surround this beaitful woodland.
There are also toilets and a tea room.
