Pump Cottage
Pump Cottage is thought to be about 400 years old and was probably
the original farmhouse. The cottage has been sympathetically renovated to provide excellent
holiday accommodation whilst retaining its traditional features, including a superb inglenook
fireplace incorporating a Cornish cloam oven. The delightful and spacious living/dining/kitchen
area includes a ‘Villager’ woodburning
stove (fuel available from the farmhouse for which a charge will be made). The
kitchen/dining area is separated from the living area by a low, natural stone wall. There
are two cosy bedrooms at the back of the cottage fitted with pine furniture and country
furnishings, together with a very pleasant bathroom and wc. The side door opens on to a
large grassy play area. A lovely cottage which is fully equipped for six people - and ideal
for Christmas/New Year gatherings.  |
